POSITION SUMMARY

Aleut is seeking a Program Manager to lead multiple tasks and to develop a robust growth portfolio supporting Aleut Federal's Technology Services Group (TSG). This position will manage contract support to multiple government customer tasks including: contract funding execution; team and personnel management; local training and on-boarding; interviewing candidates and advising on potential hires; work with and present status to government offices and Aleut leadership;

manage deliverables and reports; ensure management and accomplishment of Performance Work Statement (PWS) tasks; assist Contract Officer Representative (COR) as required; collect and analyze program data and performance; recognize deficiencies, determine root cause, and implement improvements. This position will also be responsible for the development of a pipeline for the strategic growth of Aleut Federal lines of business.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
  • Leadership, management, problem solving, planning
  • Oversee contract execution, program management, budget, and operations of assigned projects
  • Ensure all contractor personnel under his/her authority comply with all required training required by the customer and Aleut Federal
  • Manage a portfolio of projects and control deadlines, budgets and activities
  • Manage personnel and organizational structure to accomplish the mission and tasks
  • Communicate with government stakeholders to ensure transparency regarding project issues and decisions
  • Produce accurate and timely reporting of program status throughout project life cycles
  • Develop a growth pipeline for Aleut Federal's TSG that identifies opportunities, performs capture activities, develops proposals, and delivers new work upon award
  • Additional duties as assigned
WORK ENVIRONMENT
  • Work on-site at Aleut Federal's Colorado Springs corporate facility is primary, with some telework authorized.
  • Primarily indoor office conditions. Potential for some outdoor field operating conditions during all seasons when supervising contract execution on site.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
  • Must be able to sit or stand for prolonged periods.
  • Must be able to perform repetitive keyboard tasks and associated motions for prolonged periods.
  • Must be able to carry up to 25 pounds.
SALARY RANGE
  • $130,000 -- $140,000 (annual) depending on qualifications

REQUIERMENTS:
  • EDUCATION:
    Master's Degree
    from an accredited institution
    • Master of Business Administration (MBA) preferred
  • EXPERIENCE:
    • 10 years' experience in management and operations within DoD/USG
      • Acquisitions background preferred
    • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
    • Demonstrated ability to lead and support cross-functional teams across DoD
    • Exceptional communicator (written and verbal) capable of facilitating, briefing, speaking, and writing compelling papers/products
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook)
