Position: INTELLIGENCE SPECIALIST

The National Defense Authorization Act for FY 2020 approved a new, independent Space Force in the Department of the Air Force. The U.S. Space Force is a military service that organizes, trains & equips space forces in order to protect U.S. and allied interests in space and to provide space capabilities to the joint force. Duties

Directs all federated targeting intelligence production and analysis request within Space Operations Command and assigned deltas supporting the targeting enterprise.

Serves as a senior technical authority on targeting issues for Directorate leadership.

Develops concept of operations and guidance to provide service support to joint force targeting requirements.

Serve as Space Operations Command, S2's adviser to Department of Air Force, Joint Staff, IC, and DoD forums.

Exercise supervisory personnel management responsibilities.

Requirements

U.S. Citizenship Required
All new DCIPS employees are required to complete a two-year DCIPS trial period.
If authorized, PCS will be paid IAW JTR and AF Regulations. If receiving an authorized PCS, you may be subject to completing/signing a CONUS agreement. More information on PCS requirements, may be found at:

Employee may be required to work other than normal duty hours, to include evenings, weekends and/or holidays
Shift work and emergency overtime may be required
