What does a Logistics Project Manager do at Swire Coca‑Cola?

This position is responsible for managing the planning, initiation, and execution of multiple projects that impact the entire Swire organization, with a primary focus on logistics transformation programmes requiring coordination across diverse resources. The role involves driving process improvements, making strategic decisions to advance projects, and serving as the central point of contact to ensure team alignment. It includes communicating with stakeholders to maintain goal alignment, performing quality control throughout development, identifying and escalating risks, interpreting financial models, and providing actionable insights.

Additionally, the Project Manager will coach and mentor team members to achieve milestones while working closely with the Logistics leadership team on project prioritisation and training leaders and key business process owners to ensure successful delivery of the overall project portfolio.

Responsibilities
  • Project Leadership:
    Oversee the design, development and implementation of logistics projects, ensuring they're on time, within budget and meet objective.
  • Continuous Improvement Projects:
    Work on projects to identify and implement process improvements, map critical processes, and use continuous improvement to boost productivity and cut costs.
  • Project Data & Analytics:
    Develop and use project dashboards, reports and data to track performance and support investment decisions.
  • Cross‑Functional

    Collaboration:

    Partner with IT, Operations, Finance and other teams to align initiatives, resolve issues and ensure seamless execution.
  • Stakeholder Communication:
    Communicate requirements and project status to leadership, corporate teams and customers.
  • Project Performance Management:
    Define and track Key Performance Indicators like on‑time delivery, user adoption, ROI and business value delivery.
  • Strategic Alignment:
    Ensure technology and process initiatives support overall supply chain strategy and senior leadership goals.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree required or relevant work experience required.
  • Six Sigma Green Belt Certification required or.
  • Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) – PMI required or.
  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt preferred.
  • 10+ years demonstrated project management experience required and.
  • CPG industry experience, preferably in Supply Chain preferred.
  • Proficiency with statistical analysis tools (QIMacros, Mini Tab) preferred and.
