• Under the supervision of the Plant Superintendent, this position supports the plant in all areas of operating the cuber for production machines and verifies product quality and output and is responsible for supporting and demonstrating the Core Values of Integrity, Safety, Respect, Customer Focus, Quality, Innovation and Financial Success. Performs other related duties as assigned.
• Operate the cuber, splitter and depalleter in a safe manner and report any problems with equipment to Supervisor or Machine Operator immediately.
• During machine downtime, assist the Machine Operator with problems as needed and assist with mold changes.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area; ensure downtime activities and duties are clearly communicated with the Shift Lead to identify additional tasks needed.
• Read and use a tape measure; read block product names, sizes and color details; understand cubing patterns and pallet quantities.
• Inspect cuber at start of shift for problems and inspect block product for good/bad quality.
• Follow mixer cleaning lockout procedures and, at shutdown, clean the mixer within the designated time for the shift.
• Attend safety meetings and abide by all safety rules; report and correct hazardous conditions.
• Maintain predictable and regular attendance.

• Requires basic math, reading and writing skills.
• On-the-job training experience is required to perform duties.
• Learn and follow all safety procedures for the equipment.
• Ability to shovel and do general clean up duties.
• Communicate effectively with peers and management.
• Predictable and regular attendance is required.

• Frequently required to use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk and listen; stand, walk, and sit.
• Occasionally required to bend at the waist; lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.

• Plant environment with loud noise, moving machinery, dusty, dirty conditions; outdoor weather conditions; extreme temperatures.
• Wear mandatory and/or other appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).

Salary: $18.00 -- $20.00 DOE (Depends on Experience)
