CNC Programmer
Colorado Springs, CO | $35–40/hr | 1st Shift, Full-Time
OverviewWe are seeking an experienced CNC Programmer to create, revise, and optimize complex CNC programs, setups, and tooling for a precision machine shop. This role works closely with engineers, operators, and project managers to ensure parts are manufactured efficiently and accurately.
Responsibilities- Develop, update, and optimize CNC programs, tool lists, and setup sheets.
- Interpret and process complex blueprints and job packages.
- Program using Mastercam, CAD, and ERP systems; edit drawings and models.
- Provide post‑process and on‑machine programming support (G‑code).
- Collaborate with engineers, operators, and fabrication teams to improve efficiency.
- Ensure programs meet quality, cost, and production requirements.
- 5+ years CNC programming experience.
- Strong knowledge of machining processes, tooling, and G‑code.
- Proficiency with Mastercam, CAD, and ERP software.
- Experience with FANUC, Haas, and Heidenhain controls.
- Ability to hand‑program at the machine when needed.
- Degree/certification in CAD/CAM or related field preferred.
