Position Summary
We invite you to join our team as a Welder at 3D Systems Corporation
. You will collaborate closely with our welding team to fabricate frames and weldments for our large-format 3D printers and enclosures, maintaining an organized and efficient workspace. This position offers the opportunity to expand your knowledge of welding and fabrication processes and grow within the welding and manufacturing industry.

- Prior material cutting/welding experience.
- Follow safety procedures.
- Work independently and with a team on defined tasks.
- Follow verbal and written instructions.
- Read and interpret weldment blueprints and weld callouts.
- Aid in preparation of materials to be welded, including organizing steel, grinding, and material preparation.
- Aid in organizing and accurately cutting material packages using cut lists and engineer drawings.
- Use a fixturing system to build repeatable accurate weldments.
- Material handling and storage, including forklift or gantry use.
- Loading and unloading materials from vendors.
- Assist team with shipping and receiving, preparing items, machines, and pallets for shipment to customers.
- Maintain a clean work environment, including trash removal, sweeping shop floor, and tool/material organization.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Proficiency with power tools and hand tools.
- Proficiency with reading accurate measurements with a tape measure.
- Some knowledge of reading and interpreting blueprints and assembly drawings.
- Experience with MIG welding and fabrication.
- Clean driving record.
- Understanding of safe working practices.
- Familiarity with forklifts.
This is a full‑time position requiring 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday. Occasional overtime may be required based on production demands. The role is performed primarily in a warehouse/shop environment and may involve periodic work outdoors.
Physical RequirementsThis position requires the ability to lift objects weighing up to 75 pounds on a semi‑regular basis and to stand or sit for extended periods of time. You may also be required to work in confined spaces, at heights, and in environments with moderate to loud noise levels. Proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is mandatory, which may include dust masks, welding gloves, welding jackets, welding hoods, eye protection, steel‑toe boots, and other safety gear as needed.
