Responsibilities
This role is responsible for the nursing aspect of the admission/intake of new patients. The applicant will coordinate and supervise direct patient care and program implementation for residents in the admission of community care and residential programs. The individual will assess patient needs and coordinate the implementation of quality nursing care, as prescribed by the Treatment Team / Physician.
This includes safety and crisis management for the patient populations, ensuring a safe and therapeutic environment.
Screening of applicants begins immediately and continues until the position is filled.
Compensation$35.00/hr – $52.00/hr

- Knowledge and experience of nursing care and interventions with psychiatric patients.
- Knowledge of psychotropic medications, potential side effects, and psychiatric diagnoses.
- Ability to direct others, organize multiple tasks, and problem‑solve in a fast‑paced environment.
- Can safely implement special treatment procedures and delegate responsibility.
- Skill in developing therapeutic relationships with clients of all ages and working as part of a treatment team.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; CPR certification required.
- Licensed in the State of Colorado or hold a current compact license.
