Job Details:
• Work day shifts from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM with call responsibilities
• Call requirements include usually one weekday per week and one weekend per month
• Holiday call requirements apply
• Call response time is 30 minutes
• Work in a 16-suite cardiovascular operating room performing approximately 30 cases per day
• Common procedures include CABG, TAVR, EVAR, TEVAR, lobectomy, and pericardial window
• Must have circulating CVOR experience
• Scrubbing preferred for RN positions
• May float to general OR if no CVOR cases available
• Pod scheduling and rotation system utilized
• Epic EMR system experience required
• BLS certification required
• Blue scrubs dress code
• Unit-specific orientation available
• Must be within 60-mile radius and submit driver's license
• BSN not required but nursing license must be submitted
• Hospital may cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment

This acute care hospital features a comprehensive cardiovascular operating room department with 16 surgical suites and a high-volume caseload. The facility utilizes Epic EMR systems and maintains a structured team approach with dedicated OR techs, charge nurses, and lead technicians. The organization provides specialized cardiovascular surgical services and maintains modern equipment and technology to support complex cardiac and vascular procedures.
