We are seeking an experienced Quality Control Manager to lead quality operations in a high‑tech electronics manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for ensuring compliance with ISO 9001, UL certifications, IPC standards, and customer requirements while driving continuous improvement across PCB assembly, electronic assemblies, and precision sheet metal components. The ideal candidate is a hands‑on quality leader with strong technical expertise and a passion for excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee quality inspections for PCBs, electronic assemblies, and precision sheet metal components.
  • Maintain and control quality documentation, including control plans, work instructions, specifications, and compliance records.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, UL, customer‑specific standards, and internal quality requirements.
  • Lead and maintain UL certifications (UL 94, UL 508A, etc.) for components and finished products.
  • Prepare for and lead internal, external, customer, ISO, and UL audits.
Problem Solving & Continuous Improvement
  • Investigate non‑conformances and customer returns; perform root cause analysis and implement effective CAPA.
  • Track, analyze, and report key quality metrics such as yield, defect rates, scrap, and RMAs.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve product quality, reliability, and manufacturing efficiency.
Leadership & Team Development
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the Quality Assurance team.
  • Promote a culture of quality ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally with Manufacturing, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Operations teams.
Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of QA/QC experience in electronics manufacturing, including PCB/PCBA environments.
  • 5+ years of leadership or management experience in Quality.
  • Strong working knowledge of ISO 9001 standards and practices.
  • Hands‑on experience managing UL certifications (UL 94, UL 508A).
  • Strong knowledge of IPC standards (IPC‑A‑610, IPC‑A‑600).
  • Experience with RoHS compliance.
  • Proven expertise in root cause analysis, CAPA, DMT/DFR, and RMA processes.
  • Ability to inspect precision sheet metal components and assemblies using detailed drawings.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Preferred / Nice to Have
  • Degree in Quality Management, Engineering, or related technical field.
  • CQA (Certified Quality Auditor) certification.
  • Experience with ERP and QMS software systems.
  • Background in high‑reliability electronics manufacturing.
