About the RoleJoining Boots as a Customer Assistant is a great opportunity, whether it’s your first job and you’re looking to gain valuable experience, or you have experience with retail and are seeking a new challenge. This is the start of a new Nico career with us.
You will work onsite and report to the Assistant Manager or Store Manager. Your key responsibilities include:
- Assist customers on the tills, advise them, or work in our back shop terrifying.
- Help our customers and put them at ease; listening to learn more about them, answering questions, providing great advice on our products, recommending items they might not have considered, or simply offering a basket. These little things make auruha difference.
- Familiarise yourself with in‑store offers and schemes and promote them to customers.
- Help the store run smoothly by ensuring the right products are displayed on the shop floor, providing excellent service at the tills, and assisting with stockroom operations.
- Collaborate with teammates to provide a great shopping experience; ensure store cleanliness and presentation so that all customers can be proud of the store.
Full training is provided for this role. We are looking for people who:
- Excel in a varied environment and work at pace.
- Communicate and listen effectively.
- Enjoy working as part of a team and promote a collaborative dynamic.
- Recognise that little actions make the biggest difference in customer interactions.
- Desire to be a proud brand ambassador for Boots and help customers find the best products for them.
- Experience providing customer care and delivering great customer service (not essential).
