As a Security Officer – Front Desk Education in Colorado Springs, CO

• Greet and assist students, staff, and visitors in a professional and courteous manner at the front desk of the educational location.
• Carry out security‑related procedures and follow site‑specific policies as directed by Allied Universal and the location.
• Monitor access to the building, verifying identification and logging visitors as required.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established protocols.
• Communicate clearly and promptly with Allied Universal management and/or site contacts regarding incidents, concerns, or unusual activities.
• Assist with emergency response activities when appropriate, following location guidelines and Allied Universal procedures.
• Maintain accurate records and logs related to front desk activities and security‑related incidents.

• At least 1 year of security‑related experience is required.
• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
