The Underground Distribution Laborer is responsible for preparing and cleaning construction sites, loading and unloading building materials, operating equipment, and assisting craft workers with their duties. This position supports the Construction team and collaborates with personnel within the department.

Pay Rate: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour.

Per diem/housing: There is no per diem or housing provided for this role; must be local.

Licensure: Current and valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) required.

• Clean and prepare the construction site for work, removing debris and potential hazards.
• Assist tradesmen in completing their skilled tasks more effectively.
• Identify utilities and monitor digging to prevent utility hits.
• Clean up and maintain equipment.
• Restock trucks with supplies to ensure crews have the proper tools and materials to complete the job.

• High school diploma, or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license.
• Current and valid Class A CDL.

• 1 year of relevant experience.

This job operates in a field environment and routinely requires bending, squatting, climbing, kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting, and twisting. It may involve working in inclement weather (extreme heat/cold, rain, snow, wind). The position is physically active, with lifting requirements up to 50 pounds. Vision requirements include the ability to judge distance and space relationships and distinguish colors.
