Join our team as a Traveling Telecommunications Tower Technician at Capital Tower & Communications, Inc. With over 30 years of experience, we specialize in tower installation, maintenance, and repair for a wide range of clients, including wireless carriers, government agencies, and private businesses.

We are looking for individuals who can climb heights in excess of 300 feet daily, work in all weather conditions year‑round, have construction or electrical experience, enjoy working with hands, and are willing to travel for 6‑week rotations followed by a 7‑to‑10‑day break.

• You enjoy constant travel and are willing to live life on the road 6‑week travel rotations followed by a 7‑10 day break (travel expenses covered)

• Follow all safety rules and regulations
• Install, replace, or repair antenna system equipment
• Distribute, pick up, and organize tools and materials
• Install, modify, and mount platforms
• Identify and fix problems using test equipment
• Work with a team
• Perform tower structure inspections
• Climb and work on communications towers for the installation, replacement, and repair of antenna system equipment under close supervision
• Use hand tools and mechanical equipment carefully
• Read site plans and tower drawings
• Understand hazards associated with tower climbing, construction equipment, and working near energized lines and equipment

• Competent Climber/Rescuer

• Bloodborne Pathogens
• Capstan Hoist/Base Mounted Hoist/Ginpole Principles
• Kaleus/Anritsu/Exfo Training
