This position handles installation, repair, and maintenance service projects for all types of electrical systems in residential and light commercial settings in Colorado Springs.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

* Journeyman Electrician License (Required)

* 3+ yrs of experience as journeyman electrician

* Experience in residential and commercial electrical systems

* High school diploma or equivalent

* Customer service oriented with a desire to learn new skills

* Willing to start immediately

* Commitment to following company regulations

* Participating in regular training sessions to stay up to date with industry standards

JOB DUTIES

* In-depth understanding of installation, repair, and maintenance of residential and commercial electrical equipment and related devices.

* Determines general condition of all electrical equipment, can troubleshoot electrical malfunctions, and determine the extent of necessary repairs.

* Interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams to specify the layout of electrical systems.

* Identify proper materials and material quantities for new and existing repair projects.

* Identify opportunities to recommend additional services or upgrades to customers, effectively explaining the benefits to drive sales.

* Evaluate customer requests and provide work order descriptions and straightforward pricing.

* Provide technical guidance to peers and onsite technicians.

* Ensure a safe work environment by adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.

* Complete all required paperwork and documentation accurately and timely.
