As a Junior Laborer, you will support onsite activities for infrastructure upgrades, assisting skilled tradesmen, technicians, and engineers with site preparation, equipment handling, material movement, and general labor tasks. This role involves physical work in active construction, IT, and utility environments while ensuring safety and security compliance.

Locations may include Cheyenne Mountain SFS, Peterson SFB, and Schriever SFB.

This position is contingent upon successful contract award to V2X.

Responsibilities

Major Job

Activities:

• Perform physical labor tasks to support installation and daily operations.
• Assist in moving equipment, racks, boxes, and pallets.
• Help in cleanup and restoring facilities to pre-install conditions.
• Dispose of waste materials properly.
• Support site preparation and implementation activities for ISP / OSP solutions.
• Operate hand and power tools, including air hammers, earth tampers, cement mixers, small mechanical hoists, surveying and measuring equipment.
• Assist in site cleaning, trench digging, bracing, scaffolding, and debris removal.
• Support installation of ISP / OSP cabling, racks, cabinets, and equipment.
• Rack and stack network devices.
• Perform cable dressing, labeling, and documentation.
• Assist in restoring sites after project completion.

  Material & Equipment Used:

  Proficient in report writing and data entry in MS Excel and Word.

  Working Environment:

  Office and outdoor settings, potentially in austere locations.

Qualifications

Education / Certifications:

• High School Diploma

Experience /

Skills:

• Minimum 5 years supporting large, complex network modernization projects with a High School Diploma.

Skills & Technology:

• Proficient in reporting and data management using MS Excel and Word.
