Aviation Maintenance Technician
Rampart Aviation LLC in Colorado Springs, CO is currently seeking A&P Technicians.
BASIC FUNCTION SUMMARYA&P Technicians perform flight line support and maintain company-owned aircraft, including airframe and engine maintenance, repair, modifications and inspections.
QUALIFICATIONS- Minimum of four years total aviation maintenance experience.
- Preferred civilian or military aviation maintenance technical school.
- FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) License.
- Must meet CFR 65.83 recency experience.
- Must own basic aviation hand tools stored in a mechanics toolbox.
- Valid U.S. Passport, U.S. Citizen and United States Driver’s License.
- Pass drug, alcohol and background checks.
- Willing to work overtime, odd hours and CONUS travel.
- Must read, write, speak and understand English.
Salary depends on experience and qualifications.
PHYSICAL DEMANDSClimbing, standing, stooping, bending, pushing, kneeling, stretching, extensive walking and working in tiring uncomfortable positions. May require lifting objects exceeding 75 pounds. Special vision abilities: close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust and focus.
WORK ENVIRONMENTDiversity of work conditions ranges from little or no physical discomfort to inclement weather. May be required to work in areas with high noise hazards, fumes or airborne particles and electrical shock hazards.
