Make an impact supporting students as a dedicated School Social Worker for the school year near Colorado Springs, CO. This full-time contract role is based in the Education and Administration Center (EAC) and offers the opportunity to foster positive relationships, support student well-being, and collaborate with a dynamic educational team.
Responsibilities include conducting social-emotional assessments, providing individual and group counseling, developing and implementing intervention strategies, and working closely with teachers, families, and administrators to promote student success. Your expertise will help create inclusive, supportive environments by addressing diverse social, emotional, and behavioral needs.
What you’ll do:
- Assess student needs through interviews, observations, and data analysis
- Develop intervention plans for students facing academic, social, or behavioral challenges
- Provide crisis intervention and counseling for students and families
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and administrators to develop effective strategies for student support
- Advocate for resources and services for students and their families
- Maintain thorough and confidential documentation in compliance with school, district, and state regulations
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute social-emotional insight
Ideal background:
- Experience as a Social Worker in educational settings or with school-aged children
- Valid School Social Worker certification/license in Colorado
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational abilities
- Familiarity with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and related special education procedures preferred
- Ability to work independently within a team-focused environment

Compensation for this position ranges from $15.00 to $66.00. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
