Senior Software Engineer – Full Stack Developer
This role is part of an Agile Development Team developing web-based microservices for command and control of space operations deployed in a containerized environment.
Base Pay Range$150,000 – $195,000 per year
Responsibilities- Develop, analyze, test, debug, and maintain system architectures and software to provide scalable solutions composed of custom and open‑source software.
- Participate in Agile Teams to plan, develop, enhance, and maintain software.
- Integrate commercial solutions, including open-source software, into a cloud‑native environment.
- Develop intuitive user interfaces to ease the employment of technically complex services.
- Proficient software development skills.
- Unix/Linux experience.
- Familiarity with microservice development of scalable solutions employing messaging (e.g., Rabbit
MQ) and REST APIs. - Agile/Dev Ops experience.
- Python, Java, and JavaScript/React development.
- Unit and behavioral test development using Cucumber.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret U.S. Security Clearance.
- Master’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
- Security+: CISSP or equivalents.
- Front‑end and back‑end development.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, software management tools, source code repositories such as Git Hub, Git Lab, and Jira.
- Ability to evaluate open-source tools and recommend for employment.
- Familiarity with Document as Code such as Sphinx.
- Experience with NASA GMAT scripting.
- Experience with DoD application coding practices.
The salary offered will be based on the selected candidate’s qualifications—skills, education & experience—and the position level. Base salary ranges from $150,000 to $195,000.
