The University of Colorado Colorado Springs (UCCS) will not sponsor work visas or permanent resident applications for this position. This position is dependent on the availability of external grant funding; funding is expected to last up to 3 months.

Salary Range: $50,000 – $60,000 (equivalent for 3‑month position: $12,500 – $15,000). Compensation will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.

The programmer will develop software for the project, collaborating with the project team. The PI will assign specific tasks; the programmer will execute them.

• Program, develop, and maintain software and tools designed by research members.
• Resolve programming and software development issues independently.
• Ensure software meets high‑quality development practices, including thorough documentation for future maintenance.
• Perform additional tasks as directed by the faculty PI to accomplish the research project.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science.
• Solid understanding of space systems and infrastructure.
• Significant programming experience with space systems and infrastructure.
