Davidson is seeking a Software Engineer with Dev Ops in Colorado Springs, CO.
Job Responsibilities:- Conduct software development activities across multiple innovative tools.
- Apply software development best practices in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Support the integration of sophisticated algorithms into software products.
- Engage in exploratory projects to assess new theories, concepts, and technologies.
- Actively participate in Agile practices and Scrum methodologies.
- Facilitate design discussions and collaborate effectively to refine project requirements.
- Communicate clearly to articulate ideas and concepts both verbally and visually.
- Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines in Gitlab.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Software Engineering.
- 4+ years of relevant software development experience
- Experience with C++, C#, and Python programming.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum, Kanban or SAFe environment
- Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Ability to collaboratively work on product requirements.
- Understanding of Dev Sec Ops principles.
- Experience writing jobs and maintaining pipelines to support a CI/CD environment.
- Experience configuring Gitlab runners in both Windows and Linux.
Competencies:
- Experience with military modeling and simulation (M&S) applications.
- Experience supporting Missile Defense Agency (MDA), Space Force, Air Force, Army, Navy, or other DoD programs.
- Experience with missile defense, missile warning, command and control, sensor systems, or related defense technologies.
- Experience with high-fidelity simulation environments or discrete-event simulation frameworks.
- Experience with Python scripting and automation for data processing, testing, or analysis.
- Experience with MATLAB or other engineering analysis tools.
- Experience developing or integrating REST APIs, microservices, or distributed applications.
- Experience working within a classified development environment.
- Ability to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance.
