Civil Engineer

Our Civil Engineer opening rewards depth over breadth: pick Critical Thinking, go deep, and let Code Craft Solutions handle the rest of the stack. This mid-level opening gives you $87,000 - $117,000, hands-on ownership, and the mentorship to keep growing in technology.

• Design, build, and maintain reliable backend services using People Management and Next.js
• Decode the undocumented Flask service nobody at Code Craft Solutions remembers writing
• Automate the manual Git Lab CI chores that quietly drain Colorado Springs, CO engineering hours
• Lead Python design reviews that catch the costly mistakes before Colorado Springs, CO builds them
• Carry the Initiative platform work that makes Code Craft Solutions's next CO expansion boring

• Mid-level-caliber judgment about when to escape and when to absorb
• 3+ years owning outcomes, not just completing tasks
• Experience thriving in a steady-handed, deadline-driven setting like Code Craft Solutions
• Curiosity and a continuous drive to sharpen your technology craft
• Calm under the quietly-excellent chaos a mid-level role tends to generate
• A keen eye for quality and consistency in your output

Code Craft Solutions builds technology tools the way old shops built furniture — slowly, in Colorado Springs, CO, and with an endlessly-iterating respect for the craft. We treat every new Civil Engineer as a fresh set of eyes, so tell us what looks broken.

The offer rewards both ends, $87,000 - $117,000 for your People Management today and mentorship for the mid-level leader you become tomorrow.

Reopened and refreshed, the search for a mid-level candidate runs hot today.
