CCO Office Assistant / Camp Registrar (2026) – YMCA of the Rockies
Base pay range: $617.60 / yr – $617.60 / yr
POSITION SUMMARY: This position is responsible for supporting camp with business and office duties. They provide excellent phone and email etiquette to families and knowledge of camp activities. They assist camp administrators by being highly organized, accurately filing, uploading, and verifying forms and documents. They serve staff and campers through a timely and organized mail system.

EssentialFunctions for All Camp Staff
- Create a safe space for all campers, families, and staff; promote safe work practices to allow for development and growth.
- Possess the mental, social, and emotional skills necessary to build rapport and positive relationships, putting camper needs first.
- Respond to camper and customer requests for service, troubleshoot problems, and develop solutions in a patient and respectful manner.
- Contribute to a cooperative and positive camp community, acting as a team player.
- Be responsible for the upkeep of the camp facility and its cleanliness; report any needed repairs in a timely manner.
- Assist other departments as needed.
- Assist with all camp office operations such as data entry, filing, organizing, and customer service.
- Assume responsibility for mail and one‑way emails.
- Understand all aspects of camp to effectively answer parent/guardian questions.
- Assist with work and cleaning projects as required.
- Handle confidential and stressful situations appropriately.
- This position is hourly with a 40‑hour work week.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
- Computer skills, preferably Microsoft Word, Excel, and some commercial database knowledge.
- Basic office skills, strong telephone etiquette, and knowledge of business equipment.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and efficiently manage time.

- Must meet acceptable criminal background‑check standards.
- Willingness to comply with YMCA and Colorado Department of Transportation rules to operate YMCA vehicles.
- Must have a valid U.S. driver’s license or, if required, a Commercial Driver’s License.
- Must have a satisfactory driving safety record (verified by MVR Review).
- Drivers must complete a YMCA driver training program.
- Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
- All other duties as assigned.
- Be able to work inside and outside in all weather conditions.
- Be able to hike on rugged terrain.
- Must be able to lift 25 pounds.
