Primary Job Responsibilities:

Payroll: Must possess a thorough understanding of B2W (Payroll system for Foremen and Craft employees) and Keystyle (Payroll system for salaried employees). Understand and execute Personnel Action Forms, Labor Cost Adjustments, & UKG.

Administrative/Operations: Establish and maintain a professional work environment while performing daily office responsibilities. Promptly answer the telephone; distribute incoming and outgoing mail; order office supplies and set up and manage Fed Ex/UPS shipments; type correspondence reports and other documents as needed to support site activities. Greet/treat all visitors, new hires, and employees in a positive and professional manner. Ability to effectively and with empathy communicate with all levels of craft and management.

Assist corporate in the maintenance of company assets. May prepare various daily, weekly, monthly, annual, and job-to-date reports.

Human Resources: Support Human Resource needs between the field and the main office. Cooperate with Site Supervision to complete and submit employee documents (separation of employment, rehire/transfer form, application); assure employee orientation packets are distributed, participate in training programs, return all Human Resource materials to Denver at the end of the project.

Operations:
Assist Site Supervision in establishing utilities and mail, and basic delivery services; perform routine office maintenance and help coordinate cleaning, office machine maintenance etc.; run errands as needed.

Safety: Communicate location and access of emergency room and clinic, and post emergency services and telephone numbers as require. Assist Safety Manager as needed.

Additional job functions:

Perform additional assignments per supervisor’s direction.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 1-2 years of experience in administration, payroll, and basic HR duties are required.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Ability to organize and prioritize numerous tasks (multi-tasking)
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and possess strong self-initiative
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications (i.e., Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
  • Payroll system experience
  • Union Payroll a plus
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish (or other relevant language) is a plus

Safety and Dress Requirements:

  • Sleeves always worn (no muscle shirts or tank tops)
  • No ripped/cut jeans
  • Steel or Composite toe boots when in the field
  • Other safety equipment will be provided as necessary

Physical Requirements:

  • Must comply with company’s drug and alcohol abuse policy
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment physical examination, as required by the company

Industrial construction sites, office, and/or fabrication shop

  • Uneven ground level

  • Predominately in an office/trailer
  • May be exposed to extreme hot or cold weather or excessive humidity, rain, ice, snow, etc.
  • You may encounter various noise levels caused by tools, machinery, equipment, etc.
  • Potential exposure to chemical substances

Pay Equity

$25 - $28 per hour

Primoris Renewable Energy provides the following compensation range and general description of other compensation and benefits that it, in good faith, believes it might pay and/or offer for this position including per diem.
