Soar Autism Center seeks a dedicated Child Care Specialist to support the growth of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). This entry‑level role requires no prior certification; comprehensive training will be provided.

At Soar, we nurture children and families with autism through child‑centered, play‑based services designed to meet each child's unique needs.

• Recent college graduates in psychology, special education, child development, teaching degrees, or similar
• Anyone with childcare experience and a passion for kids: nannies, babysitters, preschool teachers, Montessori teachers, tutors, substitute teachers, childcare volunteers, Sunday School teachers, etc.
• Frontline healthcare workers seeking a career change: home health aides, behavioral health techs, psychiatric aides, child life specialists, etc.
• Encore career workers eager for a fresh start in a mission‑driven organization.

• Provide one‑on‑one support to children ages 2‑6 in a clinic setting using science‑backed, naturalistic therapeutic methods.
• Implement intervention plans developed by behavior analysts, speech therapists, and occupational therapists.
• Collaborate with the child’s healthcare professionals to deliver consistent, high‑quality care.

• High school diploma or equivalent (required).
• Experience with children ages 2‑6, ideally in a professional capacity.
• Ability to obtain Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification within the first 6 weeks of employment (paid training provided).
  RBT certification required for the CO Springs location.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Computer and tablet literacy.
• Reliable transportation to training and local center; punctuality essential.
• Physical stamina: sit, stand, shift positions, lift up to 50 lbs., kneel on floor, walk/run short distances as needed.
• Preference for college graduates or students pursuing a degree.

• $21.00 – $28.00 per hour with bonuses and promotion opportunities; salary reviewed quarterly.
