ESCO is a fourth generation, family‑owned business that opened its doors in 1944. We perform all types of civil construction such as earthwork, utilities, concrete flatwork and concrete structures for private and public clients. With 250 employees, we tackle diverse projects throughout Colorado’s Front Range, mountain regions, and surrounding states.

The Field Engineer is an entry‑level position with limited experience required. The role involves interaction with both office staff and field crews.

• Understand construction methods and terminology
• Gain exposure to budgets, including internal labor and equipment costs, subcontractors, and materials
• Use computer tools such as Microsoft Office, HCSS Heavy Job, Agtek Earthwork Takeoff, and Microsoft Project
• Perform quantity takeoffs
• Support project schedule preparation, quantity estimation, and production rate calculations
• Manage subcontractor quantities for weekly cost and monthly progress billings

• Undergraduate degree in engineering, construction management, or a similar discipline
• Recent graduate with no experience or less than two years of experience in heavy civil construction
• Organized, motivated, detail‑oriented, and driven

• Salary ranging from $65,000 to $85,000
