The Role

BHH Partners is seeking a Project Designer to support our architecture team in crafting high‑end residential and commercial projects. In this role, you’ll assist with design development, drawing production, and project documentation while gaining hands‑on experience in a collaborative, fast‑paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design

    Collaboration:

    Work closely with the architectural team to develop and refine building designs.
  • Technical Drafting:
    Create detailed plans, drawings, and documentation using CAD tools and manual techniques.
  • 3D Visualization:
    Assist in producing 3D models for design development and client presentations.
  • Client Interaction:
    Participate in meetings to discuss design goals and communicate visual concepts.
  • Code Compliance:
    Ensure all design work meets applicable building codes, zoning laws, and regulations.
  • Cross‑Disciplinary Coordination:
    Collaborate with engineers, builders, and consultants to align design intent and technical requirements.
  • Trend Awareness:
    Stay informed on new materials, construction methods, and architectural design trends.
Qualifications
  • Experience in architectural design or a related field preferred.
  • Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or equivalent tools.
  • Knowledge of building codes, zoning regulations, and approval processes.
  • Strong drafting and conceptual design skills with sharp attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and visual presentation abilities.
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to contribute in a team‑oriented environment.
  • Creative problem‑solver with a passion for thoughtful, sustainable design.
