Location:
Heart of the Rockies Regional Medical Center, Salida, CO. Full‑time, APP‑led interventional pain clinic.
Apply your clinical expertise in a fast‑paced environment focused on interventional pain procedures and medication management. The practice is supported by an experienced interventional pain physician. Experience in pain management is preferred but not required; we offer training for motivated candidates.
Key Responsibilities- Perform comprehensive patient evaluations, including histories, physical exams, and review of diagnostic studies.
- Develop individualized treatment plans using interventional procedures, medication management, and lifestyle modifications.
- Monitor and manage patients on controlled substances in compliance with state and federal guidelines.
- Collaborate closely with the interventional pain physician on procedures and complex cases.
- Educate patients and families about treatment options, pain management goals, and safe medication use.
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the electronic medical record system.
- Participate in team meetings and quality improvement initiatives.
- Master’s Degree preferred.
- Active and unrestricted PA or NP license in Colorado.
- Experience in pain management, orthopedics, neurology, or primary care preferred but not required.
- New graduates with strong clinical training and strong interest in pain medicine encouraged to apply.
