This fully staffed inpatient facility operates a Level III Trauma Center and a NICU, supporting a range of high-acuity obstetric and neonatal care needs. The facility includes a dedicated Obstetric Emergency Department and is supported by Labor and Delivery RNs throughout all coverage periods. Established clinical protocols and structured workflows are in place to facilitate continuous obstetric and gynecologic care delivery.

Colorado Springs offers clinicians on assignment access to a range of outdoor and cultural experiences suited to varied interests. Clinicians may explore the red rock formations and hiking trails at Garden of the Gods, summit Pikes Peak by car or Cog Railway, or raft the Arkansas River. The area also features the naturally carbonated mineral springs of Manitou Springs, the Pro Rodeo Hall of Fame, the Space Foundation Discovery Center, and the Western Museum of Mining and Industry, providing diverse options for leisure throughout the assignment period.

Clinicians will provide full scope obstetric and gynecologic coverage on a night shift basis with call responsibilities at an on-site inpatient facility, structured as weeknight call and 3 weekends of 24-hour call per month, beginning in 2027. Coverage is required for 3 weeks and 3 weekends per month, with an expected delivery volume of approximately 60 deliveries per month. Call coverage is a required component of this assignment, and clinicians must maintain continuous on-site availability throughout each designated coverage period.

Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology is required for all clinicians considered for this position.
