Children's Cooking Instructor –

Join our team as a part‑time After School Children’s Cooking Teacher and help us cultivate COOLinary Curiosity in Kids®. We’re looking for a dedicated instructor who loves cooking, enjoys working with kids, and wants a flexible, meaningful part‑time role. Applications will be accepted until 12/31/25.

• Availability at least 2 days a week (Monday – Friday, during the school day and/or 2‑5 pm)
• Commitment to teaching full sessions (4‑12 weeks)
• Serv Safe Food Handler Certification (can be obtained before teaching)
• Ability to manage and engage a group of 8‑14 children with diverse backgrounds and academic levels
• Reliable transportation
• Timely communication with the team
• Punctual and reliable
• No professional cooking experience required
• Experience working with kids of varying ages is a plus!
• Proof of COVID‑19 vaccination may be required by districts and schools

As a part‑time After School Children’s Cooking Instructor you are the face of our company, engaging children aged 3‑18, parents, and school staff each week. You work on‑site at various locations, leading hour‑long, healthy, and engaging cooking enrichment classes.

Each week you create creative recipes and teach children about new ingredients, healthy foods, and the cultural stories behind each dish. Your organizational skills are used when reviewing weekly class curricula, preparing instruction, and independently shopping for fresh ingredients.

You teach basic kitchen skills—washing, cutting, grating, stirring, measuring, nutrition—and the history, geography, and language of each recipe, encouraging children to develop healthy food habits for a lifetime.
