  • Build a strong, supportive community and foster life & work skill development
  • Facilitate curriculum sessions, group meetings, and outdoor adventures
  • Conduct weekly check‑ins, evaluate progress, and communicate with leadership
  • Help recruit, interview, and onboard future participants
  • Support a healthy, inclusive, mission‑aligned housing environment
  • Model professionalism, boundaries, and YMCA core values at all times
  • Occasionally drive participants in a 14‑passenger mini‑bus on mountain roads
  • Jump in to support other departments when needed — teamwork makes us stronger!

  • Passion for youth development, mentorship, and community building
  • High emotional maturity, excellent boundaries, and calm under pressure
  • Comfortable engaging in regular outdoor physical activity
  • CPR/WFA certified (or willing to obtain)
  • Strong communicator, problem solver, and relationship builder

  • Valid driver’s license and good driving record
  • Bonus:
    Bilingual English/Spanish
Our Culture & Mission

  • Able to lift and move up to 60 lbs
  • Ready to work in a lively, high‑energy environment
