Location: Rush Creek, Matheson, CO (approximately 40‑60 minutes from Colorado Springs)

Position OverviewAs a Wind Site Technician, you’ll ensure the smooth operation of wind turbines, directly addressing maintenance, troubleshooting, and system issues.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain and repair wind turbines with the team to keep communities powered.
- Adhere to safety protocols and perform inspections.
- Collaborate to improve turbine performance and share best practices.
- Document work and continuously improve operational processes.
- Accurately time code all work activities to support clear tracking of task duration, progress and efficiency.
- At least 6 months with a Wind Technician certificate, or 1 year of wind turbine experience, or 2 years in mechanical or electrical fields.
- Highly developed problem‑solving abilities and an engaged approach to responsibilities.
- Safety‑conscious and committed to best practices.
- Able to work well with others and enjoy collaborative environments.
- Physically fit, comfortable working in various conditions, and at heights.
- Ability to speak, read and follow instructions in English.
- High school diploma (or equivalent), a valid driver’s license, and legal authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Base pay: $27.43 – $33.43/hr, with potential for additional variable compensation based on experience and qualifications.
Sign‑on bonus of $2,500 USD for qualified candidates (one‑time payment, subject to taxes).
Physical Demands- Stand and walk for prolonged periods.
- Hearing to use telephones, radios.
- Visual acuity including depth perception, color discrimination.
- Stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling as needed; manual dexterity.
- Climb stairs and vertical ladders up to 60‑100 meters; supervise work in confined spaces.
- Lift up to 50 lbs.
- Complete required safety training: LOTO, Electrical Qualification, Fall Arrest & High Angle Rescue & Emergency Descent, Confined Space.
- Training courses including controlled descent practical exercises.
