Position: Infrastructure Engineer Storage with Security Clearance
Location: Aurora

Job Description:

• Client has an opportunity for a Infrastructure Storage Engineer available to support the next generation of satellite command and control systems for one of our government customers.
• As part of a team of engineers, the candidate will be responsible for managing storage services in multiple environments as well as providing solutions for storage related issues; must be a strong troubleshooter with experience in storage issue mitigation as well as prevention.
• This position may require some on call support and overtime, occasional after-hours availability as required for installation and troubleshooting support.
• The candidate should be open to expanding their skill set to include skill sets beyond purely storage as there is need.

Basic Qualifications:

• U.S. citizenship and current TS or TS/SCI Security Clearance is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
• Typically requires BS/BA Degree in Science, Technology Engineering Math (STEM) in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Physics and a minimum of 5 years of related work experience
• Experience with storage configuration on physical and virtualized storage environments
• Experience with enterprise backup architecture, emphasizing Cohesity backup solutions
• Thorough background in on premise and virtualized infrastructure data center systems design
• Experience Linux System Administration.
• Hands on experience scripting skills (i.e. Power Shell, Python, Ruby, bash, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience Enterprise Storage solutions experience Such as: NFS cluster and Block Storage. OCP/Kubernetes
• Experience with automation design and implementation using Unix/Linux command-line shell scripts

Experience with fiber channel configurations on storage, fiber channel switches, tape libraries and servers, including multipath configurations
• Experience working in standard MS Office productivity suite, including at least intermediate experience with Excel and Visio
• Experience in creating informative charts and drawings to illustrate the storage system’s configuration and design
• Experience with delivery coordination to a site
• Current Security+ certification or obtained within 90 days of hire.
