Network Technician

The Network Technician assists with the development and implementation of network systems. They maintain and troubleshoot network systems and make repairs or adjustments as needed.

• Assess components of network, assistance when issues arise
• Understanding of Network Protocols such as spanning tree;
  Multicast protocols
• Troubleshoot network, server and PC problems
• Install and configure computer network systems
• Upgrade components in existing networks, including new routers, switches, security software or other parts, to improve the operation of a system
• Perform routine network maintenance
• Create and develop project IP Schedules
• Assist with engineering department CAD drawing modifications
• Assist with engineering, conduct coordination and design
• Assist with configuration Cradle Point and Time Machine
• Assist with Rack and Stack of Network, Servers and other systems
• Support local and external projects, traveling to various projects as assigned and as is reasonable
• Lift up to 30lbs
• Perform basic office duties, including typing, copying, emailing,
• Operate tools and machinery as required
• May be required to work outside of normal business hours, as dictated by project needs
• Communicate regularly and effectively as appropriate
• Maintain the standards, culture and values of CML Security
• Other duties as assigned

• High School diploma or GED required
• CompTIA Network +, CCST ; CCNA - Please provide current Certificate  application
• 1 Year of experience with various types of network equipment, security and wireless systems required
• Proficient in MS office, Outlook, Bluebeam and similar programs
• OSHA-10 certification preferred; can be taken if position awarded
• Travel Required

Employment may be contingent upon successful completion of a background check and drug screen.

Estimated fill date :

Pay range: $75-105k annually.
