Role Description
This is a full-time on-site Field Engineer role located in Austin, TX. The Field Engineer will be responsible for conducting technical field assessments, overseeing and inspecting projects, identifying and analyzing equipment issues, and ensuring compliance with safety and performance standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing detailed reports, liaising with clients and teams to develop engineering solutions, and assisting in the implementation of project designs and optimization processes.
The role also requires effective communication with multidisciplinary teams and clients to address technical requirements and solutions.
Qualifications
- Strong technical skills in failure analysis, process optimization, and engineering design
- Experience with QA/QC procedures including metallurgical assessments, nondestructive testing, and environmental compliance
- Proficiency in data collection, reporting, and analytical problem-solving
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to interact with multidisciplinary teams and clients
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field (Mechanical, Process, or Civil Engineering preferred)
- Willingness to work on‑site in Austin, CO, and flexibility to adapt to fieldwork environments
- Previous experience in the energy or infrastructure industries is advantageous
- Familiarity with safety protocols and regulatory compliance
