We’re seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Mechanical Engineer to join our client’s team in Parlin, NJ. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or current Mechanical Engineer student with an interest in manufacturing, CAD, CNC programming, or machining—or someone with hands‑on, self‑taught CNC programming experience. We’re open to candidates with a 4‑year degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, as well as individuals who have developed CNC programming skills through practical experience, trade work, or personal projects.
What we’re looking for:- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering () or equivalent hands‑on experience. Current Mechanical Engineering students or related field able to work 20 - 30 hours per week will be considered.
- Interest or experience with CAD, machining, CNC programming, or machine shop operations such as milling, drilling, lathes, etc.
- Familiarity with HAAS CNC lathes is a plus
- Strong problem‑solving skills and willingness to learn
- Reliable, self‑motivated, and detail‑oriented
- Contract assignment expected to last 6–12 months
- Flexible scheduling— we will consider full‑time, part‑time, or someone looking to supplement their current income ("moonlighting")
- On‑site position in Parlin, NJ
