RoleResponsible for overseeing the daily operations of the poker room, ensuring a professional, fair, and enjoyable gaming environment for players and staff.
Responsibilities- Supervises poker operations and staff.
- Creates effective and efficient schedules, maintaining labor costs, meeting staffing objectives, and achieving guest satisfaction.
- Ensures all team members adhere to poker room policies, procedures, and gaming regulations.
- Serves as the primary point of contact for resolving floor calls in a fair, professional manner.
- Oversees live and tournament poker games to ensure smooth, fair, and timely play.
- Manages player lists, balances tables, opens/closes games, and assigns dealers effectively.
- Supports table fills, buy‑ins, chip transactions, tournament registrations, and payouts in coordination with cage and security.
- Ensures compliance and integrity of all poker games, including fairness and adherence to house rules, Colorado gaming laws, and ICMPs.
- Monitors games for irregularities and takes corrective action when necessary.
- Ensures compliance with surveillance, security, and reporting protocols (e.g., incident reports, Title 31, suspicious activity).
- Provides high‑level customer service and builds positive relationships with players, resolving concerns or disputes with professionalism and diplomacy.
- Accurately completes and submits all required logs, shift reports, and incident documentation.
- Provides feedback and suggestions to improve poker room operations.
- Supports training and mentoring of new dealers and floor staff.
- Leads by example in professionalism, game knowledge, and customer service.
- Stays updated on poker trends, rules, and industry best practices.
- Minimum 2 years of previous experience in a poker environment.
- Minimum 1 year of previous supervisory experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
- Flexibility to work all shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays.
