Soft Count Clerk

Starting Pay: $22.00

Counts contents of BVA's Poker and Table Games boxes.

• Responsible for taking unaudited money out of all boxes.
• Responsible for running money through the Glory GSA 500 for count.
• Filling out paperwork for game boxes and completing the shift settlement sheets.
• Keying in information into the computer.
• Cleaning up of the soft count area.
• Always maintain a pleasant, friendly and welcoming attitude.
• Have complete knowledge of events and promotional activities and facilities available to guest.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Ability to read, write, hear and speak clearly.
• Ability to handle and count money accurately.
• Ability to read and understand simple instructions and memos.
• Ability to use a 10-key calculator.
• Ability to perform assigned duties under frequent time pressures.

• A high school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Must hold a valid gaming license by the state.

• Standing 75%
• Walking 10%
• Bending/Lifting 10% (up to 15 lbs.)
• Pulling/Pushing 5% (up to 800 lbs. with help)
• Locked in a secured room.
• Casino environment exposed to bright lights, loud noises, varied temperatures.
• High rise hotel.
• Some time spent on casino floor.
