Floor Attendant - Part-Time and Full-Time

Overview

Floor Attendant on the casino floor responsible for the proper operation of slot equipment, guest assistance with machine issues, and handling money in a secure, compliant manner.

• Ensures proper operation of slot equipment on the casino floor at all times.
• Monitors casino floor, assists guests with minor machine problems, machine payouts and machine fills.
• Clears bill validator jams, Ticket In Ticket Out (TITO) jams, and performs TITO paper replacement.
• Provides customers with currency for operating slot machines or other gaming activities.
• Handles jackpot payments after receiving appropriate approvals.
• Receives, secures, counts, reconciles, and distributes large sums of money accurately and promptly.
• Completes required casino forms for slot jackpot/fill slips and follows procedures for re-filling; verifies money at the beginning and end of each shift.
• Maintains effective working relationships and provides personalized customer service to guests and employees; verifies winnings and explains gaming rules as necessary.
• Performs responsibilities in compliance with the Colorado Limited Gaming Act, Internal Control Minimum Procedures, internal policies and procedures, and Colorado Limited Gaming Regulations.
• Regular and reliable attendance is a fundamental requirement; punctuality and consistency are expected to ensure operations.

• Demonstrated knowledge of casino operations, gaming rules, and regulations.
• Experience receiving, securing, counting, reconciling, and distributing large sums of money.
• Working knowledge of slot machine games and operations.
• Effective and diplomatic customer service and communication skills, including interactions with employees and guests.
• Ability to work within deadlines or under pressure; strong problem-solving, organization, and prioritization skills.
• Ability to work well with people and create a fun environment for guests.

• High school graduation or equivalent; gaming school or equivalent preferred.
• One or more years of recent related gaming experience, preferably in slot operations.

• Must have a valid and current State of Colorado Gaming License.
• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.

Essential duties involve physical exertion: frequent brisk walking, climbing stairs, bending, reaching, standing for long periods, and lifting equipment up to 30 pounds. Flexible workweek with additional hours may be required.

$12.00+ per hour, based on experience, plus gratuities
