Adheres to departmental and company policies and procedures regarding guest service standards while providing a safe, secure, and comfortable environment for all guests and team members. Conducts continuous patrols by foot and vehicle throughout the casino, hotel, and surrounding company-owned areas to address suspicious activity or other concerns, including navigating uneven surfaces, inclines, declines, and stairs. Escorts and transports funds for table fills, slots, and banks;
provides security for kiosk add fills and money drops for tables and slots; and escorts non-gaming team members, such as maintenance, repair, and cleaning personnel, in sensitive areas. Maintains strict confidentiality and professionalism in all company matters and operates security dispatch as needed, including dispatching officers, maintaining key control, and completing all required dispatch logs. Delivers a superior guest experience through consistent, positive interaction and may assist with property incidents as a first responder, including guest medical situations, intoxicated patrons, and gathering information related to security incidents on company property.
Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, remain knowledgeable of applicable state laws and gaming regulations, and patrol by foot or stand for extended periods of time (6–8 hours) while verifying identification credentials to prevent underage access to gaming areas. This is a uniformed position requiring compliance with Ameristar uniform appearance standards while on duty.

- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in a guest service-related field required.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a valid Driver’s License and operate company vehicles as needed is preferred, but not required.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Colorado Support Gaming License.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a CPR certification.
