Sonnenalp Of Vail Foundation is seeking a Full‑Time Year‑Round Income Auditor located in Edwards, CO. The position will remain open until August 31, 2024 or until filled.
Base Pay Range$60,000.00 / yr – $65,000.00 / yr, plus up to a 10 % bonus potential.
Typical ScheduleMonday–Friday, 8 am – 5 pm.
Primary Purpose of PositionThis role is responsible for daily PMS & POS reconciliations and all aspects of daily income audit for the hotel, restaurants, and golf club.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Reconcile daily sales for the hotel and golf club and make bank deposits.
- Review and correct daily PMS & POS integration variances as needed.
- Coordinate collection activities, including calls and emails to guests and members, and use internal escalations as required for problem accounts.
- Respond to guest and member inquiries.
- Prepare weekly aging reports and follow up as needed.
- Attend weekly golf club meetings.
- Ensure gift cards are processed correctly and make corrections as necessary.
- Respond promptly to credit card disputes.
- Support the accounting team on month‑end closing procedures.
- Contribute positively to the team by supporting and participating in special projects as needed.
- BS in Accounting with 2–4 years of related work experience (preferred).
- Hospitality experience (preferred).
- 2 years professional experience in accounting and finance; accounts receivable/income audit experience is a plus.
- Solid understanding of receivables and computerized accounting systems.
- High‑level proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Office products (Word, Outlook).
- Ability to handle a high volume and work in a fast‑paced environment while producing consistent and accurate results.
- Ability to multi‑task.
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely in both writing and verbally with guests, members, co‑workers, and department managers.
- Open to developing skills and knowledge.
Physical Requirements
- Sedentary work: may require lifting up to 10 pounds occasionally. Very little standing or walking.
