Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Staff Accountant to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $60,000 to $80,000 per year.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform account reconciliations and implement necessary adjustments to align with financial regulations.
- Participate in monthly closing procedures and evaluate associated processes.
- Manage fixed asset records, including allocation of depreciation methods for regulatory and financial compliance.
- Record entries for payroll on a bi-monthly basis.
- Monitor expense accounts to ensure consistency with regulations and identify irregularities.
- Maintain accurate records of revenue-related transactions.
- Assist in the management of accounts payable and conduct credit card reconciliation activities.
- Uphold the integrity of financial controls by following internal protocols.
- Complete additional duties as directed by superiors within the finance department.
- Adapt to evolving business requirements and circumstances.
- A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Accounting.
- Proficient verbal and written communication capabilities.
- Demonstrate a fundamental grasp of financial regulations and principles.
- Exhibit strong attention to detail and be skilled in Microsoft Excel usage.
- Show demonstrated analytical and critical thinking skills.
