Psychologist - Corrections; Notional

Note:

This is a NOTIONAL position and is contingent upon contract award.

• Conduct psychological screenings and assessments based on available records and clinical interviews with inmates.
• Collaborate with other clinical staff, such as psychiatrists, mental health providers, physicians, nurses, and social workers, to coordinate patient care.
• Develop, implement, and modify individual treatment plans based on evaluations.
• Perform regular rounds in confined housing areas to assess inmate adjustment and mental health needs.
• Apply psychological counseling techniques and activities for individuals in caseload.
• Provide mental health assessments, counseling, and crisis interventions as needed.
• Consult with multidisciplinary teams to understand and address behavioral and mental health issues.

• Doctoral degree in Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current, unrestricted license to practice psychology in the practice location.
• At least two years of clinical experience, including one year in a similar position.
• Valid driver's license.
• Minimum age of 21 years.
