The Senior Transportation Driver is responsible for safely and efficiently transporting clients within the city of Gunnison to appointments, and/or activities. You will provide a valuable service to the Senior population in our community to help foster independent living.

Gunnison Valley Health is the sole community-owned health system for Gunnison County and surrounding areas. • Education – High school diploma or equivalent required. Must be at least 18 years old
• Experience – Previous driving experience preferred.
• Licenses/Certifications – Must have a current, valid Colorado Drivers license. Will be trained in transfers and first aid upon hire.

Schedule – Shifts might be scheduled Monday – Sunday.

Status – Temporary/Part time.

Hours – 8 to 32 hours a week depending on the schedule.

Compensation – $18.00 - $19.55/hr, depending on experience.

Occasionally:
Standing, walking, sitting, reach across midline, pinching, crouching/squatting, stairs, lifting (0-20 lbs), carrying (0-20 lbs), pushing/pulling (20 - 50 lbs).

Frequently:
Sitting, reaching, handling.

Continuously:
See with corrective eyewear, hear clearly with assistance.
