Be a Volunteer Companion for a Senior! – Porchlight Friends
Porchlight Friends companions assist older adults by providing companionship visits lasting 2 hours, light housework, errands, and transportation for doctor appointments. Clients enjoy easy connection to family and community services via the Porchlight Health platform.
Responsibilities- Assist with small tasks in the client’s home
- Perform light housework chores
- Provide rides for errands and medical appointments
- Offer face‑to‑face companionship to reduce loneliness and isolation
The position is volunteer, non‑paid, and part of a nonprofit civic organization.
