SummaryPharmacy Technicians provide a high‑level service to patients and customers using skills that maintain the highest professional and ethical standards. Success in this role involves managing assigned pharmacy workstations, supporting the team to prompt, safe and accurate prescription fill, and surpassing customer expectations in a fast-paced environment.
Training & Qualification Requirements- Must be at least 16 years of age.

- Attend and complete CVS Pharmacy Technician Training Program and satisfy all registration, licensing and certification requirements according to your state’s Board of Pharmacy guidelines.

- Remain upright on feet for sustained periods.
- Move about on foot to accomplish tasks.
- Use fingers for sorting, picking, typing.
- Extend hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction.
- Bend body down and forward by bending spine at the waist.
- Stoop to a considerable degree, requiring full use of lower extremities and back muscles.
- Express ideas by spoken word; receive detailed oral instructions accurately.
- Perceive nature of sounds at normal speaking levels; receive detailed information orally.
- Visual Acuity: close visual acuity required for transcribing, reading, inspecting small parts.
- Occasional lifting up to 30 lbs; exerting up to 30 lbs of force occasionally, 10 lbs frequently, or negligible force constantly.
- Previous experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting.
- Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician.
- PTCB National Certification.
High School diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.

Pay Range$17.16 - $27.16 per hour (base hourly rate). The actual base salary offer will depend on experience, education, geography and other factors.
