Position OverviewIn this PRN role, you will provide pediatric physical therapy evaluations, treatments, and education right in the comfort of our clients' homes. Your expertise will also include supervising therapy assistants and collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure the best outcomes for our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct timely therapy evaluations and treatments based on physician orders.
- Supervise and lead physical therapy services, ensuring high performance from assistants and aides.
- Maintain clear communication with families, physicians, and healthcare teams.
- Document services accurately and comply with state and federal regulations.
- Participate in ongoing agency meetings and provide training for staff.
Qualifications:
- Graduate from an accredited physical therapy program and licensed in the state of practice.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology and its application in physical therapy.
- Excellent communication skills to motivate clients and collaborate with healthcare teams.
- Ability to handle physical demands, including moving clients and equipment.
- Willingness to work weekends and holidays on a rotational basis.
- Must be at least 21 years old if operating a company vehicle.
- Proficient in using computers and electronic devices for documentation and timekeeping.
This is a PRN position that requires travel to clients' homes. Flexibility is key, as you will be working on an as-needed basis.
Compensation and BenefitsPay: $54.52 - $58.42 per hour, based on experience.
