Join Our Team as a Speech Therapist!

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of others? Home Health of Western Colorado is looking for a dedicated Speech Therapist to join our dynamic team!

As part of Volunteers of America National Services, we pride ourselves on providing exceptional care while fostering a supportive and inclusive work environment.

In this PRN position , you will provide in-home speech therapy services to both pediatric and adult clients facing neurological communication disorders. Your expertise will help improve their communication and swallowing abilities, all while working closely with healthcare teams and following physician orders.

• Evaluate and develop tailored treatment plans to enhance communication efficiency.
• Document evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries in compliance with agency policies.
• Communicate regularly with physicians and team members regarding client progress.
• Participate in rehab and care planning conferences to ensure comprehensive client care.
• Provide education to clients, families, and staff as needed.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech Pathology with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or equivalent experience.
• Valid state license in Speech Pathology or actively working towards it.
• Experience working with adults and children with neurological disorders.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage a diverse caseload.

This role requires travel to client homes, offering flexibility in your schedule while making a meaningful impact in your community.

Pay: $45.90 - $51.20 per hour, based on experience!
