- Master's degree in Speech Pathology or Communication Disorders.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC).
- Certification by ASHA (American Speech-Language-Hearing Association).
- Current CDE Special Services Provider license with endorsement in Speech Therapy, Speech Correction, or Speech/Language Pathology.
As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will develop and implement individualized education and treatment programs for students facing communication challenges. This role allows you to work closely with young learners in a nurturing school environment, making a lasting impact on their development.
Job Details:- Part-Time: 2 days/week (15 total hours).
- In-Person Only: Engage directly with students.
- Start Date: ASAP until the end of the school year.
- Setting: Elementary School.
- Manage and organize specialized materials and equipment for the speech and language program.
- Provide educationally related communication interventions for students with language, speech, or hearing disorders.
- Assess speech and language skills of students suspected of having communication disorders and collaborate with teachers to develop IEP goals.
- Offer resources, modeling strategies, and training to team members on communication interventions.
- Communicate regularly with school staff, parents, and students about assessment results and progress.
