- Master's degree in Speech Pathology or Communication Disorders.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC).
- Certification by ASHA (American Speech-Language-Hearing Association).
- Current CDE Special Services Provider license with endorsement in Speech Therapist, Speech Correction, or Speech/Language Pathologist.
As an SLP, you will have the rewarding opportunity to develop and implement individualized education and treatment programs for students whose communication abilities have been affected by developmental differences, disabilities, or injuries. You’ll work in a supportive school environment, making a lasting impact on the lives of young learners.
Job Details- Part-Time: 2 days/week (15 total hours).
- In-Person Only.
- Start Date: ASAP through the end of the school year.
- Setting: Elementary School.
- Manage and organize specialized materials and environments essential to the speech and language program.
- Provide educationally related communication interventions for students with language, speech, or hearing disorders.
- Assess speech and language skills of students suspected of having communication disorders and collaborate with teachers to develop IEP goals.
- Offer resources, modeling strategies, and training to team members in communication interventions.
- Communicate regularly about individual student assessments and progress with school staff, parents, and students.
