As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing individualized education and treatment programs for students facing communication challenges. This is your chance to work in a supportive school environment and positively influence the development of young learners.
Job Details- Schedule: Part-Time, 2 days/week (15 total hours)
- Location: In-Person Only at an Elementary School
- Start Date: ASAP through the end of the school year
- Manage and organize specialized materials and equipment essential to the speech and language program.
- Provide educationally related communication interventions for students with language, speech, or hearing disorders.
- Assess speech and language skills of students suspected of having communication disorders and collaborate with teachers to develop IEP goals.
- Offer resources, modeling strategies, and training to team members on communication interventions.
- Communicate regularly with school staff, parents, and students about assessment results and progress.
- Master’s degree in Speech Pathology or Communication Disorders.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA.
- Current CDE Special Services Provider license with endorsement in Speech Therapy, Speech Correction, or Speech/Language Pathology.
